My Equestrian Pursuit

A Journey Guided By Horses

From a very young age I have always been drawn to animals and how they can add to peoples lives. It taught me so much about work ethic, compassion and perseverance. I started riding horses at 8 years old and was completely hooked. I quickly started working at my barn and got my first pony that I learned how to train. The barn community was so warm and full of people from all walks of life. It was here where I learned so much about what it means to be a good communicator both through horses and my peers. I am so fortunate to have this sport as part of my life and I truly believe it makes me a better person in so many ways. It’s where I go to work hard, meditate, and learn more about myself. Now, as an adult I have an amazing community and support group at my barn and I am enjoying learning to become a better rider and create a partnership with these amazing animals.
